I am a J1-Visa holder till a year for now and recently i got a job with another company and the employer filed a H1-B Petition for me and the petition got approved. But they approved the petition and mentioned that i need to go to stamping first and get stamped and then only the employer should allow me to start with my job.
Actually the J1-Visa is valid till July 10th 2003. I have applied for my J1 Waiver and it is gonna take 3 to 4 months more to finish the process.
I am tied up in this situation. I want to go for stamping after i get my waiver and also i want to stay and join the company.
Please let me know if there is any way i can request the immigration department to extend my I-94 or accept my request and allow me to join in the company.
