Previous EAD Date?

I forgot the date when I applied for previous EAD, but it were sent in the same package with 140/485. Should I use 485 RD or ND for previous EAD application date?

And what do I put in "Please provide information concerning your eligibility status"?

This is previous posted question, I assume it's 1B1.

Filling online form for EAD renewal.

For "Current Immigration Status", there are

- 1B1:H-1B1 Specialty Occupation
- H1B: Specialty Occupation

Which one should I use? I enter as B1 and change to H1B.

Do you have Notice of receipt for previous I-765? It should have the date on it.

And what do I put in "Please provide information concerning your eligibility status"?

I described in words that Applying for Employment Authorization Document while Adjustment of Status (I-485) is Pending at Nebraska Service Center

Thanks for the help.

The EAD approval notice has date 10/21/02 and valid 10/17/02 to 10/16/03. If I use that, seems it's got approved before application date. Should I use 10/21/02?

Thanks. I'm trying to renew my EAD online but haven't use the previous one. I'm still on my last year of H1B1 and planning to extend that into 7th year if possible. Hope they don't yell at me.

Do I HAVE TO switch to EAD after using emergency AP to travel?


One more thing, if the application support center can collect digital information, there're no need to mail anything, right?

I think to meet the requirements of filing of EAD Renewal, and to be on the safe side and avoid an RFE, you should also send;

I-485 receipt
A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back)
A copy of your last EAD (front and back)

You dont need to send the photos.

On the last screen just before submission of Online EAD, there's one check-box, asking if you will mail supporting documents. If you check it, the receipt says "Applicant is sending supporting documents" and the Adjucator would expect some sort of supporting documents.

Once you use AP, your status is adjustee (Not H1B1), then you work on EAD and file renewal EAD as an adjustee (as jaxen pointed out)
 
Too bad, I didn't check the box. The lady on the support line said the official receipt will prompt what supporting document is required.

Is that the case? Should I send them now or wait for the receipt?

You would get the receipt in 2-4 days, Please update if it mentions whether you need to send any more documents or not. But I doubt that, I guess its an automated system which generates receipts.
 
You are right, it doesn't mention anything. I'll send supporting documents as you suggested. Hope they are smart enough to put them together.
