Is it true that more H1Bs,EADs,fingerprinted IT people are laid off and returning back to India and other places. I heard that CA and East Coast more people are affected.
What will happen to I-485 decision, if they return back.?
I am waiting for interview from local INS office.
Is it really a recession started or just slow down of economy.?

yes, things are bad esp.in the silicon valley area.

I know many people who have gotten laid-off and very very few who got hired.

In IT the companies seem to be looking for skill sets like \' 3 years data warehousing, 2 years SAP, 2 years Brio, 2 years Informatica, ex Big5, DBA with C++ and Java &J2EE. \'

Good luck finding that person!!!

I do not know how many people are returning to India though...Most people I know have GCs, I am the only slacker!!!
