Lay off, and last pay check date is 10-10-03, apply H1B transfer on 11-10-03. What is the odd of getting approval?

Would it help if going for premium processing?

Service center is NSC.

Thanks.

Yes PP will get results faster (if employer is spending the additional 1000). Other wise 1 month should not be a problem, except I94 renewal (see archives)

With premium processing, the H1B transfer got approved in 7 calendar days (5 business days). Looks like the zero tolerance policy has been relaxed. Thus, one month paycheck gap is ok.
