H1B issued in june 2008, but got a call from Chennai AFU yesterday to come 4 intervi

Please help me and give some of your thoughts..on this..

I have applied for H1B in 2007 and went for stamping in OCT2007, and i was given blue slip asking me to get all the documents inside that letter.
My employer was able to provide Client letter and some project documentation, so i applied with the documents to chennai VFS in April 2008 and i got the visa successfully stamped in June 2008,

But to all of my surprise i received a call from Chennai USconsulate on 20th of July 2008 telling that my Visa was not valid to travel to US and askd me to come down to Chennai Consulate any monday morning before 9:a.m.
and also i received a mail from Chennai AFU(Anti Fraud Unit) stating to bring all the documents which i have produced at the time of my first interview.

But to my surprise i dont understand what is happening as i was all set to move to US on 6th of August 2008, i dont understand where i stand now.


Guys please help...me out...

Go with all the documents to US consulate. I suspect they want to cancel the Visa stamp and found some info from you or employer wrong on documents. if they said Visa is not valid for travel to US then better know the reason by visiting.
