I have been working for the past 3 years for a government lab under the Non-Profit category H1B. I recently received an offer from a software company and they want to transfer my H1B. My questions is
Do the 3 years the i worked under the non-profit category count towards the 6 year limit for the H1B visas?. So in essence would i have 3 years left or 6 years left on my visa when i move to the industry?
