H1B holder wants to marriage B1/B2 visa holder

Cordial greeting,
I girlfriend is actually in the country with a b1/b2 visa. I am a h1b visa holder. If we get married, is possible for me to get a h4 visa for her? what is the procedure? how long it is going to take?

Any other tip or advice is very welcome,

and file I539 change of status to H4. See INS website for details and find the details of h4 visa requriements in US embassy sites. This has to be filed before expiry of B visa
 
need to wait for a while

To my experience, you need to wait for a while, say two to three months before you can file h4 application from B1/B2. Different lawyers tell the different stories. It may be the experience they have. Or, you can go Mexico/Canada US embassy for the change. You may consult with lawyer about this.

U need to wait for 3 months(from entry into US in B) before filing for a change of visa from B to H to prove that U did not plan this all along but hid that from INS.
