H1B holder immigrating to Canada
Hello,
I have an H1B in for a US company but working in Canada (branch office) but want to immigrate to Canada.

-How do I contact my home country for a POLICE REPORT?

-I have not lived in my home country for more than 6 months since I was 18. Do I still need a report?

-Do I need to get a US Police/FBI clearce prior to applying or will I be informed by Counselet when to send them in? I am currently in Canada.

-My daugher was born in the US so...when I apply for myself and my family (wife) what is going to happen to my daugher's US Citizeship?

-What is the difference between Federal and Provicial candiate and which one applies to Skilled Worker?

-Do I need to write any sort of letter with my application as to explain...my purpose? Is that normal? Is it required/needed?

Thank you very much...my fellow immigration experts.

Contact your country's embassy

If it is your home country , better to get it to avoid further delays

Submit it ASAP to save time , You will not get your PR visa without submitting those .

Apply for her immigration also with your application ..

Just apply normal way as skilled labor

Dont worry about daughter's US citizenship.

When I applied, I also had USA born daughter, I applied for her also for Canada(i have to too, because she was dependent on me). We landed in October 2002. We all got PR card also in october 2003. Still, we are staying in USA.

My daughter's US Passport is as it is. No color changed from blue to any. I mean dont worry. Your daughter will remain US citizen unless you apply for her Canada citizenship after getting landing in Canada and passing 3 years.

And even your daughter is getting PR card, she can go to Canada and come back just on her USA passport, no need to show even PR Card at border.

Well, while landing in Canada, Canadian authority Windsor, put stamp on her pasport and wrote 'permanent immigrant to Canada'. That's it. Dont worry.

Thanks for the info...I appreciate it greatly.

Currently, I am on a H1B visa from US but working in my company's Canada office. My US employer also applying for Green Card...

If I apply here and get a PR will anything change in my passport that US Immigration might find out? and Deny green card?
