Hi All,
Please do advice what's the right way to pursue and how should I go about this. Below is my situation:
1. I am on a H1B and have applied for my 7th year extension, based on my Labor application (PD - Nov, 2003) pending at BEC,Dallas.
2. Along with my H1B, I have also applied for my wife's H4 extension - She's been on H4 since May 2001.
3. Both the above extensions should come through by April 20th.
4. Now the tricky part, my wife's got a job offer for H1B.
Questions:
a. Should I wait for my wife's H4 to be approved before I apply for her H1?
b. When I apply for her H1, should I indicate a change of status from H4 or should this be done separately?
c. For how long will her H1B be approved, if it does?
Please do let me know guys... thank you. I understand it's possible that someone has posted similar questions before and they have been answered. I have tried searching the database for such responses but in vain. If you can direct me to a thread that can answer my doebts .. it should be fine too.
Thank you very much.
