H1B/GC and beyond: Time to think and re-think

I think this is more towards the companies like TCS, Wipro and InfoSys..
I do not think they have problem with regular H1B's. They have problem with outsourcing the IT to these companies by giving cheap contarcts and laying off regular employees
 
I think these kinds of topics as headed towards the ears for senators etc. is a sign of bigger (not necessarily sooner) things to come and happen.

A senator is a very powerful entity of any Federal Govt. He/she listens to you if u r/have a lobby (with a valid and public interest agenda). Senator listening to u is a possible win-win sitauation for both ( for u with an issue at hand and for him/her with a perceived electoral gain).

In USA, any matter to be heard of needs a momentum and such kinds of topics and rallies r basis/foundations for future federal decisions.

These indeed can have long term impacts on immigrants of all hues and formations.
