I recently received a J1 waiver as a physician working in an underserviced area in the US. I am applying for an H1B but did not write the USMLE, i wrote the LMCC which is the canadian version. I know the websites say you must have the USMLE but my lawyer says if you can prove expertise you can get around it. Does anyone have advise?
