H1B filing while H4 extension is pending for processing

Hi
Hope you could help me out here. Can I file H1B application for my wife while her H4 and my H1b extension are under processing. I have EAC number for her H4 extenson receipt?

I think you can do it, but it just makes the matter complicated, such as H4 approval comes later than H1 approvel.
 
H1 be filing H4 is in processing

Couple of experts replied me for above questions. You can file H1 while H4 is pending. But people are not suggesting. It is sure that you will get a query asking the status of H4 file.

In inevitable situations you can still file for H1 while H4 is pending.

Hi Jersey_kishore,
I am in a similar situation. I was in F1. My employer has applied for my H1B while my H4 is pending. Make sure you provide a copy of your wife's H4 receipt while applying for H1B.
