I know this seems like a silly question, but I am finding conflicting information on the internet and I'd like to clarify:
I'm filing an extension for my H-1B that I have since 2004. On the form there's this question that determines the exemption from the $1500 fee:
Is this the second or subsequent request for an extension of stay that you have filled for this alien?
Question: What's "second or subsequent request for an extension" ? If the first time I file H-1B with this company is in 2004 then is this my "first extension" or is this my "second extension" ? Thanks for the help.
