h1b extention question

Hi,

my h1b is going to end march-2006, but I got h1b extention upto August-2007. This is a regular extention and wondering whether I should notifiy INS about the mistake they did. I was wondering whether I can keep the extra year and half month worth of h1b time. My labor got applied recently, but this is not a 7th year extention, because lawyer didn't applied for it yet.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated..

Did you check to see Labor Condition Application validity. Normally H1 validity based on your LCA time period.

This is my opinion as I found from others.

Even INS make mistakes in dates, we are liable, to keep our stay legel. H1 total 6 years means, we should not stay more than that unless we are eligible to do so. Even INS mistakenly approve any extra years
