H1B extension

Hi folks,

My wife has filed her H1b extension last week, her 1st leg of the H1b expires in late August. Seems like it is impossible to get her extension approved before then, my questions are:

1. Can she continue to work after August as long as she get the reciept of H1b extension?

2. If not, is it possible to send another check to INS for the premium process?

Any advice is deeply appreciated.

Yes she can!

She can continue to work and there is no problem with that. I know because I will be in the same situation in november 03. Just to remind you that she can't go out of the country after the visa expiry date and until the day her visa gets approved. Take it easy!

Where to send for stamping of renewed H1B Visa

Hi Folks,

I got my H1B renewed (I finished my first 2.5 years and had to apply for H1B extension). I live in New Jersey. I need to get my passport stamped.

Do you guys know where I need to send it ? I guess I need to send return fed-ex envelope also. I will highly appreciate if you guys can send me some step wise information in this regard.
