Currently I am in 7th year of H1b, and got my 8th year extension approved about 1 week back and also got my I-140 approved. So , my question is, can I change my 8th year approval to a 3 year approval, on the basis of I-140 approval ?

No. You can only apply further 3 yr extn at the end of 8th yr h1 expiry.

Hi ,
I got my labor approved couple of weeks back(After 4 and a half years).My 7th year H1B was filed in Dec 2005 while my labor was pending.Since my labor is cleared now are there any dangers for not getting the 7 th year extension.....not sure about the rule
Please advise.
