H1B extension while with Consular Processing

hello folks,

I applied I-140 through NIW category and I'd like to Switch to Consular
Processing from I-485 AOS. My 140 has been approved.

I am right now in the 5 th year and will seek extension.
Since I have got the NIW 140 approved at TX center,
Can I get the 3 year extension if I switch to CP processing?

I have changed my job [still same research area] after my NIW petition, will
that be OK for the extension?

Is that my H1B Extension has to be stick to the current employer? The
institute where I work now could be integrated into a local University.
In this case, can I still get H1B extension?

If you are not on EAD, you need to file a new H1 (transfer) with your new employer. EAD and GC are for you but H1 is always is for employer.
