Dear Rajiv
My name is Rajiv Mehta. My h1b , visa stamping and I-94 expired on 30 Nov 2002. To this effect I applied for h1b extension.
I got notice of action for h1b and h4 for my wife and kids stating visa extention from 1 Dec 2002 to 30 Nov 2005.
There is a family emergency in India, which my wife must attend in the month of July.
If I understand right, I can either
mail my documents to Washington , DC for visa stamping., which evantually heading for 6-8 weeks processing
or
go back to India with my wife for processing, which my job does not permit.
Can you kindly suggest me the best possible way as to expedite the processing of my H1B, so as my wife can go to India and get her visa stamped there??
And later I can get visa stamped for my kids in normal fashion??
Your advise will definitely put me in some sort of decision making.
I appreciate you views.
Regards,
Rajiv Mehta
