H1B extension - I-140 approved, changing job

Hello,

My h1B is expiring in march 2010.
I-140 is already approved from current employer A and I will be joining a new employer B at the end of this month (Jan'09). PD is oct'07. Now my questions are,

1. Can I apply for H1B extension with employer B at the time of H1B transfer (I still have 1 year and 2 months left out of 6 years)?

2. Can I use the approved I-140 from employer A to file for 3 years H1B extension 6 months after joining employer B (given that employer B didn't start PERM processing)?

I will really appreciate any help.

I am in the very similar situation...

I heard that people in such situation should be eligible for another 3-year or 1-year H1B extension with the new employer. But I'm really not sure... Please help..
