H1B extension after LC approved

I have several questions regarding Labor certificate, hope somebody could clarify them

1, if my labor certificate is approved, do I still need H1B to work in US?
2, if my wife is on H4, at which point she can start to work legally? Assume I will submit 140, and 485 after LC be approved.
3, this one relies on the first question. If I still need H1B even with approved LC, and my H1B will reach the 6 year deadline soon. How can I get 7 year extension since my LC approved while 140 pending under 365 days?

1, if my labor certificate is approved, do I still need H1B to work in US? -------- YES till you can apply for I-485 and get EAD to work and AP to travel.

2, if my wife is on H4, at which point she can start to work legally? Assume I will submit 140, and 485 after LC be approved. ------ After you apply for I-485 which you can apply after your I-140 is approved assuming you are in EB3 category.

How can I get 7 year extension since my LC approved while 140 pending under 365 days? ------ File your I-140 ASAP and based on the receipt you get you can apply for the 7th year extension.
