My Current Situation is as below:-
1. Completing 6 Years on H1B (i.e 03/22/09)
2. Current Employment has been Terminated today on 01/13/09.
3. Labor was approved through current employer-05/14/2008.
4. I-140 Petition filed through current employer-06/24/2008
5. One Year H1 Extension has been applied through current employer-12/12/08
6. Current employer will cancel the H1B Extension in due time.
With above scenario I won't be able to stay in US after 45 days from today.
Can I get 1 Year H1B Extension through different employer based on the above approved Labor Certification ?
My Wife is pregnant (due on 03/09/09); will it legally be possible to request current employer to continue H1B Validity ?
