H1B Emergency appointment Question

On point E of the requirements for emergency appointment
E. Workers. If you are already working in the U.S. and are returning to your job you can use the emergency/priority scheduling online.
IMPORTANT: Emergency appointments can only be given to first time applicants for an H or L visa if they are returning to continue their employment, for instance after a change of status to H or L while in the States. Dependents do not qualify for emergency scheduling unless applying at the same time as the principal.
Essential documentation:
- Evidence such as a previous visa, form I-797 or I-129 to demonstrate that they are returning to their previously authorized employment in the United States and proof that employment is authorized.

I am working in the USA for 6 years already, I have to go to India to attend my divorce court appointment and I need to get back to my job within 15 days, the appointment is in february and the current normal appointment date is April. Do I qualify for emergency appointment?

I have already stamped my visa once in the USA in 2003 after getting the original stamp from India in 2000.

Can anyone please clarify?

I had the same question regarding emergency appointment. apparently, you do qualify for the emergency appointment. but the screwed appointment system in india does not allow one to schedule such emergency appointment.
in fact if you try, you get the same appointment dates as the non-emergency type candidates.
let me know if you are able to get an earlier date.

Anybody got emergency appointment for H1B first stamp

I need to travel to India and elsewhere in Feb, so I made an appointment,
but the earlier I could get was 8th march, even after I clicked on the
emergency appointment option.
I was wondering if there was an email I’d, phone number where I could call
and get assistance on requesting an emergency appointment.
Any relevant help is deeply appreciated.
