Hi,

Iam on h1b visa through employer A and Iam presently working on h1b .I got my Ead and my i 485 is pending sine Aug 07.

I have recently applied for interlinking my i-140 of employer A to I 485 applied through employer B.

Until recently i was working through employer A,now i got a new job,
should i work on ead or h1b please let me know.what are plus points and negative points,Please let me know.

what if I 485 gets rejected/denied?

Why interfiling instead of simply using AC21 to switch jobs? Are the jobs too different to qualify for AC21?

If the employer is willing to file H1B, that is better for you, because you can travel on the H1B without needing advance parole, you can bring in a spouse and children on H4, and you don't have to worry about EAD expiration because you are eligible to continue working immediately upon the filing of an H1B extension and obtaining the receipt. If the I-485 is denied, you can continue working with the H1B until it expires, unless the denial is for a reason that makes you deportable.

But many employers are resistant to filing H1B, so talking to them about H1B before you have a job offer in hand could make you lose the job. With the EAD you wouldn't have to worry about that.
