H1b dilemma

Hi,
I have a dilemma. 2 jobs on different countries. I have to decide this week and I am in such a predicament.

My situation:
I signed for an employment early this year with a US company. I have recently been approved for an H1b. My question is:

- if I decide to forfeit my current H1b and decide NOT to pursue a career in that US company, can I still apply for a different H1b if another company gets interested in the future? say 2010?
- How do I legally forfeit my H1b?
- How does this affect my next applications with the USCIS?

Any reply would be greatly appreciated.

-----------Do nothing, just keep the H1 approval notice with you (if employer has sent you)
