H1B Cancellation

Hi Guru,

I need help. I work for Company A on H1B Visa. I transfered my H1B from Company A to Company B and have the new petition papers(I-797 of company B). I returned back to my home country and resigned from Company A. Now Company A wants to cancel my visa and had asked me to go to consulate for cancellation. Company A has given me a letter to take to US consulate which requests US consualte to cancel my H1B. In mean while i also have scheduled interview with US consulate for stamping of visa for Company B.
Tell me what should i do. Go ahead with cancellation of visa for Company A before my stamping of Company B. Will the cancelation stamp on existing visa will cause problems when i appear for interview for stamping of visa for Company B.

-------------- company A can cancell your H1 by writing to USCIS, the Visa stamp is not under USCIS it is under DOS
Company A has given me a letter to take to US consulate which requests US consualte to cancel my H1B.

Will the cancelation stamp on existing visa will cause problems when i appear for interview for stamping of visa for Company B.
------------if you have valid visa of A in passport and you have H1 transfer approval notice of B then no need to get new visa stamp, you can enter with the valid visa stamp of A and at POE show valid visa stamp in passport AND H1 transfer approval of B and you will get I-94 till H1 transfer approval notice.

* if you want you can also get new H1 visa stamp
