H1B:Can work location be employee's home?

I have been contacted by a decent company whose employees are global and work from their homes. They just have a sales/mgmt office in a metro city in USA.

Under this circumstance, can this company sponsor my H1B visa (actually a transfer) giving my home as the work location?

They are paying the prevailing wage etc and have good financials to show. They do not have any office in my city.

Please answer if you know asap OR please direct to any web resources covering this gray area.

Work location has to be a place where employer has office. You may work from home that is no issue.

What about taxes??

What about taxes?

Lets say, the company is located in TX and I live in MA. If I get a H1 done with the work location as TX, which state taxes should I pay when I will be doing the work from my home in MA?

Any idea
