H1B approved, I-94?

Hi

I applied for H1b for change of employer along with I-539 for my wife.
Our visa and I-94 are expiring soon.

3 days back the case status at USCIS website got updated that both our cases ( H1 and 1-539) are approved. We havent recieved approval notices in the mail yet.

Question:

Can we safely assume that we have been given new I-94 so that we dont have to go outside for stamping?

Should be fine unless your new employer has screwed up the application by not applying as if you are outside US. But if they have done H1's earlier I would expect them to be sensible and should'nt be an issue. If the I94 is not given due to a reason, you will also receive justification. If you don't receive and justification and I94, that is purely a H1 application filing error. All the Best....
