H1B appoved, no visa in passpord, how to return back to USA?

Hi,

I have a complicated issue. My petition for H1B was approved and I am
legally working in USA. However, I do not have any visa in the
passport, besides the old and expired F1 visa.


I would like to visit Canada for a few days. Is it going to be
difficult to return back to USA? Has anyone had such recent
experiences? I certainly do not want to get stuck in Canada.

As long as u have valid approval notice and I-94 and enter US within 30 days , u should not have any problem. This is called automatic revalidation.
