H1B and OPT collide?

Hi
I just hear of there may be a problem filing H1B and OPT roughly at the same time. My OPT receipt notice date is April 12, and my H1B was done with premium processing.

My question is How is the H1B petition going to affect my OPT request. Will USCIS reject my OPT request because I'd already filed my H1B petition? I am trying to use OPT to cover from now to October.

Please advise or point me to the some reference. I 'd really appreciate.

that's exactly how it's supposed to work - F-1 OPT till October and then H1B. No problem here.
