H1B and H4 renewal for 7th year and expiring I-94 cards

Hi,

Mine and my wife's H visas are expiring on July 6th, 2005. Our I-94 cards are also expiring on the same date. I will be completing 6 years on H1B visa.

I have filed for extensions into 7th year on June 24th, 2005. By what date should I get receipts of the application to be in status? Will I get new I-94 cards (for both of us) with the approval?

Under what conditions will I get out of status?

--------------- I think you and your spouse who is on H4 will get H1 and H4 extension filing reciepts in 10-15 days, if lawyer has filed check with him.
Will I get new I-94 cards (for both of us) with the approval?
----------- if it is extension and lawyer has not done any mistakes on your H1 extension filing forms or form I-539(for H4 ext) you both will get new extended I-94 attached with your approval notices
Under what conditions will I get out of status?
--------- if USCIS do not approve extensions
** you both are in status if H1 and H4 filed on June 24th, 2005 before I-94 expiry
