h1b after getting the card

Thanks a lot to the forum and all the members...I will be hanging around here to do my part and help out others...Few questions for the experts

1. I am on H1b and got the PR. My H1B is valid until Nov 07. Do I need to tell my company to cancel H1B? Or is it automatically done since I got the PR?

2. My company had applied for employement based PR few years back. The application is stuck with the state, however, should clear and go to the federal stage in few months. Should I ask my company to cancel this application? Or is this automatically done?

1. No need to cancel. It's better tell your company you got GC as they need to fill out I-9.
2. It's better to withdraw.
