H1B 7th yr extn with a new employer

I'm currently working for co A which filed for my LC (GC) in Dec 2002 and now is in the Philly Reg Office (SESA). My 6 yrs H1 period ends Nov 10 2004.

My co A lost its contract and another co B won the contract.

Now I have no option but to move to a new co B which will be applying for my H1B 7th yr extn.

1. Can I get my H1B 7th yr extn with co B based on LC > 365 days with co A?
2. Can I keep my LC (GC) processing going with co A and eventually get my GC? Do I have to go back to co A, if yes at what stage or preferably when?

7th Year Extn

You will get your 7th yr extn, period.

You can come back once your I 485 is in advanced stage. But not necessary(Green card is for you future employment of Company A)
