H1B 7th year extension

My 6 years of H1B expiring on Oct 1, 2006. LC filed in Sept 2005 and got approved in Dec. 2005. Filed 140 (EB2) in Jan 2006 and still pending

Do I need 7th year H1B extension based on LC ( 365 days ) or I-140 ? Also, Can I choose another lawyer for my H1B filing?

You will get one yr extn based on your LC only not I 140.
Choosing attorney is your choice.
