H1B 7th year extension filed without I140 Receipt

Hi,
My H1B lawyer has filed for 7th year extension without enclosing I140 filing receipt. Instead he enclosed my approved labor certificate. My I140 has been pending for more than a year. Did he commit any mistake here? If so can we send I140 receipt now? Please give your thoughts on this.

If so can we send I140 receipt now?
-yes with the copy of 7th year H1 filing reciept.

***I think your lawyer has sent pending I-485 reciept copy , no need of I-140 filing reciept if pending I-485 filing reciept is attached.
Please give your thoughts on this.
