H1B 7th year extension - special situation need help
My case is 7th year H1B extension. Requested from Dec 15, 2004 to Dec 14, 2005. Approved Dec 15, 2004 to Apr 15, 2005(notice date Mar 15,2005, we received on Mar 21). We thought it was a mistake and contacted USCIS by phone. They told us to fax them to request correction. We faxed and FedEx to them. On May 25th we received the letter which stated no mistake because the filing date was before 365 days (Labor certification application was filed on Dec 1, 2003). We filed extension on May 26th to request extend retroactive from Apr 16 to May 24(according to DOL May 25, 2005(LCA date can't be retroactive when applying online) to May 24, 2006).
Question:1. What is the chance my case to be approved or denied? 2. Will CIS approve from Apr 15 or May 24 or other date? 3. Am I out of status from Apr 15 to the date they approve/deny?
