H1B 7th Eligibility

My current employers have filed a permanent LC (RIR) for me but my H1B's 6th year expires in December 2004. It will only be 6 months since my permanent LC was applied. Can I still qualify for 7th year extension for H1B. Any clues ?
 
Try to recapture

Doesn't look like you would be eligible. However, if you have been out of the country for any length of time (you would need 6 months or more) during your 6 year H1 period, you can recapture that time. This way you can file for 7th year extension at the end of your recaptured time. This is what I understand.
