H1b 6th year is ending

Hi,

My six years of H1b are coming to end in Sep 2006. I have a pending application for extending H1b with receipt date as of 05/22/06 and notice date as of 06/01/06.

Is there any way to check the status of applications online to see which dates are processing/current. Based on that I have to make a decision whether to go for Premium processing or stay with regular processing.

Please Advice. TIA

Why do you have to go with the Premium processing? Since you have the extension petition filed before the end of your current H-1B, what are you worry about? Don’t you know you can keep working even your extension case will be approved after September? Don’t you know you can check the processing time at the uscis.gov website?
 
To get 7thh1bextension with valid I94 is it imp to have H1b visa stamp on passport

My case ---Me and My spouse came to USA on L1 and L2 visa respectively.
Filed for h1B visa ,Both got H1b petetion with valid I-94 till march 2007.
But we never went ouside USA ,Once we went to Canada and use Auto revalidation.
We are working on h1b with valid I-94 BUT DON'T HAVE H1B VISA STAMPED in our passport as we never went outside USA and never been out of status have all paystubs etc.

My question is :--When we will apply for 7th year extension on the base of pending labour,Is it necessary to have any previous H1b visa stamped in the passport in order to get H1b petetion extension with valid I-94 (So we don't need to go for stamping outside USA)?

No need to go for Premium processing. You can keep working with regular processing. Also you can always take help of USCIS.
 
Staying in USA with 7th year extension pending - URGENT!

hello gurus
can you please confirm to me if i can continue to stay in USA , after just filing for 7th year extension , or shall i wait for Approval to stay.
PLEASE help me to save me Premium processing charges for me and my wife(H4).
My 6th year ending on 10/07/06 and labor filed on 01/30/06 (Approved now)
i can recapture my out of states time to qualify for 365 days rule , but only issue is i have to file my H1B extension now (end august) and less time left for H1B extension on regular basis.
Shall i file on premium processing? or regular application is suffice.

Pleasse help me.....
