H1B 6 years

My H1b is expiring on june 20th 2003 with current employer, I have another H1b which will expire on June 29th 2004 (employer B). The employer B is willing to employe me agian, once I will leave the current job (jun 20th 2003). But my six years will be finishing on 20th Jun 2003. I did not get any notice of cancellation of my previous H1b (Jun 29 2004). Is it leagle to accept the job of employer B ( which was my previous employer).
I will appreciate if some one will awnser my questions

If you have not been working for company B, then you cannot use the previous approved H1. You have to try and do another H1.

Moreover for 7th yr extension, a separate H1 extension application needs to be filed anyway. The onus of counting 6years is upto you. If BCIS finds out that you did not apply separately for 7th yr extn, it can deport you.

You can apply for the 7th yr extension (is LC pending for more than 1 year?) by filing for an extension or transfer.
