H1 Visa Stamping Validity -- please advice

Hello

I am on H1B, my Visa stamp in my passport is expiring on July 5th, 2009. My I-94 card says I am good until July 5th, 2009. I just got my H1B work permit renewed until March 2010.

I need to travel to India for 10 days due to family emergencies. Can someone please advice, If I can travel or not? I am thinking of travelling on June 15th and coming back on 25th June.

Are there any risks , will the immigration department at the airport will cause any problems? I am extremely worried bez when I return back to US (POE: Chicago) there will only be 10 days for my visa stamp to expire.

Please advice

I am new to this. Can someone who is knowledgable can respond to my questions. Your input will be really of great help and sign of relief to me.
 
You can enter until the last day on your visa stamping. Be sure you have proof of current job; if you are getting a leave letter from your employer, take that too. While you are home, you may want to get a new stamping if you can gather the documents before you leave.
