My visa on my passport was expired on March 15, 2002. I send my documents to St. Louis on March 24th requesting for revalidation of my H1B visa. In response, I received 221(g) notice stating that "Your application is not clearly approvable at this time. You must apply for a new visa overseas at a U.S. embassy or consulate that processes nonimmigrant visa applications" on May 15, 2003.
In November, I received my new H1 from my new employer. Again I send all my documents for my visa revalidation on November 11, 2003 to "US Department of State/Visa (Box 2099), 1005 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO-63101-1200" by Fedex.
Today, i.e. on December 12, 2003, I received my documents from
"CA/VO/P/D - Visa Services,
U.S. Department of State
2401 'E' Street NW (SA-1 L703)
Washington, DC 20522-0106"
stating the following information
"Please note that this office does not receive initial non-immigrant visa applications. As instructed both in 9 FAM 41.111 PN2 and on our website, http://travel.state.gov, applicants or their representatives must send qualifying revalidation applications to our processing center in St. Louis.
Your visa application supporting documents, and fees are thus returned.
Initial visa applications supporting documents, and fees to revalidate non-immigrant visas in the E, H, L. O, or P categories must be sent to one of these addresses:
Submission via US Postal Service - US Deparmtne of State/Visa, P.O. Box 952099 St. Louis, MO 63195-2099
Submission via any courier service - US Department of State/Visa (Box 2099), 1005 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63101-1200"
I send my documents to st. Louis, from their, they might have send it to Washington DC. They given me the above query. I am in dilemma.
Please suggest me, what I have to do now:
1. Send again all this correspondence to St. Louis
or
2. Send again fresh documents to St. Louis.
Advance thanks for your suggestions.
