H1 visa quota still available -- time for new approvals

Hello!

Just wanted to find out if it is still possible for filing H1 for the current year quota for someone who is still in India -- how long does it take to get an approved LCA and then move on to the H1 application filing stage ?

Also how long does it take to get the I-797 approval for H1-B once it is filed -- with regular processing times ?
