H1 Visa quota is over for 2005

Hi,

A company has filed H1 for me and has a receipt number of Sep 14 2004. Can someone tell me when can I get to know whether this is approved or denied?

or can I get to know applications received till what date are part of the cap?

I read in some website that the decision wud be made before end of day today.:) Is that true?

a petition is counted towards the cap at the time of issue of the receipt notice itself, not at the time of petition approval/rejection.
you are all set.

Is there any way I can find when I can know the status? The USCIS site tells I can know between 120 to 180 days..
