H1 Visa Port of entry

Hi,
I am in usa on F1 visa. My wife has got her H1B visa approved recently.I am visitng india in Dec 06 and returning in Jan 07.
As per her consultants advise, my wife did not disclose my presence in usa on F1 status in her DS forms.
Now we are planning travel togather and if we do so our port of entry would be Chicago. As per my wife DS forms the official address is New Jersey.

My question is :
1) Is it ok to travel togather?
2) Would there be any problem for my wife with regards to port of entry being Chicago instead of New Jersey?

---------------------it means she lied on forms. you need to ask her "consultants " why they advised her to lie on the forms.
