H1 Visa From Canada

Hi Folks,

I have a situation to discuss. I am a Pakistani citizen and I have got the Canadia Immigration and I need to fly to Canada before 21st Oct because after that it will expire and they have explicitly told me that it will not be extended. Now an employer in US filed my H1 petition and I will be getting that soon (according to him).

My question is: Can I go to Canada and get the PR card, apply for the H1 visa from Toronto and can I get it? What info I have to present them.

Any help would be appreciated.

--------------- where are you at the time of posting? once employer gets H1 approval then you need to go for H1 stamping
