H1 Visa expiring soon..Port of entry problems

Hi My h-1 Visa is expiring on Nov 15 and also the H4. I am coming from india on Nov 2nd along with my wife. My I-485 is under process and I do have the EAD and AP But have not used it yet. I plan to file her I-485 before Her Visa expires and everything has been taken care of.

The only problem is that May be they will ask questions about why are coming now when there is only little time left for visa expiration?? Should I reveal that I have an EAD??SOme people say I shudnt bcoz My wife wudnt be able to enter then.

SO what shall I say them. I have NOT extended my H-1 visa. Will it become a big problem>>How do I respond to their questions.

----- you don’t have any problems as you both have valid H1 and H4 visa stamped in PP

------ Once she reaches US her I-485 should reach BCIS before her I-94 expiry date that will be Nov 15

---- Who told you that they are going to ask questions to you? They will ask, where you work? Where you stay? These are normal questions and everybody is asked. Relax!!
 
May be this helps

My wife came to US for the first time on H4 with Seven days left on her H4 Visa. The Guy @POE asked her if she has my H1 Ext. I gave her the attonery Certified papers of H1 Ext applied thru Premium Process which she showed, Officer @POE asked her about the approval and she said she doesnot have one and he let her in with I94 date set to expire in 7 days
