Hi All,
I'm a permanent resident in the United states and my spouse is in India. She was planning to come to the US on an H1 visa. My question is, will her Visa get rejected, if she shows her marital status as married when she goes for the interview in the consulate. I think that there is a form which we should complete when we go to the consulate, before the interview and in it seems that they ask for the marital status. By any chance are they going to reject the visa if she shows that her spouse is a permanent resident or GC holder. Please advice.
Thanks!!
