H1 validity

Hi
I would like to know what if the company which is holding
my H1 gets merges with other Company as part of
acquisition.Does my H1 still holds good or do I need to transfer my Visa to the present
company?.

Generally all that is required is a H1 amendment. In many cases this might not be required if the acquisition/merger contracts have mentioned about H1 cases. Per successor of interest on all issues, you should be fine.
