H1 trasfer if current employer goes out of business

I am on H1-B visa sponsored by my current employer. I am on maternity leave currently and have gone to India to visit my family for a month. My employer might go out of bussiness shortly (maybe before I return back to US). By the time I return from India, if my employer goes out of business, would I have problems getting my H1 transfered to another employer?

Moreover, as I am on an extended leave which is without pay, if I plan to get my H1 transfered to another employer once I am back from my leave, would I need two paystubs of the months just before transfer is initiated? Or, would my paystubs of the months just before my leave started will suffice?

If you prove your maternity leave, then you need to submit your 2 pay stubs which are before your vacations/maternity leave

How many maximum days one would be allowed to take as maternity leave by USCIS if she is on H1 status and employer is ready for leave without pay?

If your medical condition requires hospitalization and it is provable you can take as many days as you want per USCIS. But just take care of baby if you take 3 months off, which is not allowed.
