I am looking to change jobs and currently have a valid H1B visa. How long does it take to change my visa status once I have accepted the new job?
--- Your new employer have to send H1 transfer papers to BCIS with new LCA, once it is filed with BCIS by new company lawyer they will get H1 transfer filing receipt, once you have that filing receipt you can join new employer, actual H1 transfer /approval notice will be approved in 4-5 months time (depends on service center) if use Premium processing by paying $1000 Extra you can get H1 transfer approval in 15-20 days
