H1 Transfer

I am in the process of H1 transfer from company A to Company B.
I received a RFE before getting visa approved when company A filed my H1B,
my question is if my RFE would impact my current H1B transfer in any case?

It depends on nature of RFE - whether it is pertaining to your status/Qualification or Employer credential/projects etc.

Thank you Great Guru. The RFE was related to Employer credentials/projects and I believe that won't be a problem this time.

However, it's going to be close to one month since the transfer request was sent and there is no receipt as yet. Does it usually take this long? Is there a way I can check/track the application or maybe have the employer do that? Obviously, I cannot put a resignation notice before I receive a receipt and this seems to be taking a little longer than expected.
